Our blog continues with a topic we’ve discussed before: how to easily measure the height of your flagpole. As the evenings grow darker, it’s a good time to figure out the height of your flagpole to determine which LED lighting to raise. The most common flagpole sizes in continental Europe and the British islands is 6 meters, making our FLAGPOLE CHRISTMAS TREE 6M the best-seller.
To measure your flagpole height without taking it down:
- Stand approximately 10-20 meters away from your flagpole.
- Hold a pen in front of you so that it completely covers the flagpole from your view.
- Rotate the pen horizontally, keeping the bottom end at the base of the flagpole, simulating the pole’s height.
- Observe the point on the ground where the pen’s other end meets.
- Measure the distance between that point and the flagpole’s base!
